How does it work?

The Psolar facemask or balaclava contains a lightweight coated plastic thermal conversion module that captures heat as you exhale. As you inhale fresh air, the module gently warms the air, returning heat into your body. This advanced technology allows you to constantly breathe in fresh warm air while trapping moisture in the module to keep your mask dry and hydrate each inhaled breath.

The Psolar® face mask fits a wide range of individuals and can be easily formed to your face and neck with ultra-wide Velcro fastening strips. Psolar EX facemask mask covers the face, neck and ears.
Psolar® and Polartec® - The Material Makes the Mask
This mask incorporates the Polartec® fabrics Windblock® and Aqua Shell™. Polartec® is one of the most widely used and popular brands of outdoor accessory fabric on the market today - highly acclaimed for its durability and performance.
The Polartec® Aqua Shell® fleece face cover is made of a combination of fleece and neoprene, providing a nonrestrictive fit with four-way stretch that comfortably forms to your face. Windproof and waterproof, it provides good breath ability.
The protective neck cover portion of the mask is made of Polartec® Windbloc® fabric. It's polyurethane membrane allows moisture vapor transmission and is completely waterproof and windproof. This fleece is soft and quiet.
Sizing
The EX model is black and comes in 2 sizes - S/M and L/XL. The S/M fits most women and children, while the L/XL fits most men. If you are not sure, check your hat size. The L/XL fits people with a hat size of 7 or higher.
