Our specially designed non-slip Thermal Insulation Pad for RugHeat provides thermal insulation between a hard floor and the heating panel, improving RugHeat's performance and efficiency.

This premium non-stick rug pad prevents wrinkling, buckling, creeping, crawling, and moving of an area rug and the RugHeat heating panel on any type of flooring.

Our high-performance premium rug underlay is the best nonskid underlay you can buy for any flooring surface. It's so thin (1/16" thick) that it's unnoticeable under rugs, yet it outperforms every other nonskid underlay on the market.

Made of two non-woven polyester fabrics that are permanently needle-punched together and coated on both sides with a specially formulated water-based pressure sensitive dry adhesive. These fabrics will not rot, crumble, or dry out.

This insulated carpet padding can be used on any flooring surface. Use the white side down for use on carpets, or flip it to the gray side for use on hard surface floors.

Both sides of our underlay are lightly coated with a scientifically formulated, clean-lift, water-based adhesive to make it absolutely skid-proof. So unlike ordinary nonskid underlays, our entire underlay actually grips the rug backing, the RugHeat heating panel, and the carpet or floor, anchoring the rug in place to eliminate all movement and buckling. The clean-lift adhesive allows you to pick up and reposition your rug.

Our rug pad clean-lift adhesive is completely harmless to carpeting and all floor materials and finishes. Our under rug mat cushions rugs to prevent fiber damage and allows continuous airflow to prevent unwanted moisture and mildew buildup. Unlike many anti-slip pad for rugs, our polyester-fabric underlay is completely odorless.

This insulating carpet pad is easy to install. Simply cut it to the appropriate size, lay it out with the correct side facing down (white side facing carpeting, gray side facing hard floors), remove the plastic liner, then place the RugHeat heating panel and rug into position.

easy install
I was a bit concerned how easy this would be to lay on the floor after reading some saying they'd had an issue with the adhesive side. Mine is over carpet and I measured to know exactly where it was going to go. Then laying the radiant heat pad on top, I started on the narrow side to have more control. It went down without a glitch. It just takes a bit of planning and care and easy as.

8' X 10'2" area rug over engineered wood on a concrete floor
I purchased one 5' X 7' and two 3' X 5" non-slip thermal insulation pads to maximize heating from the Rug Buddy heaters for the above size area rug. I was able to provide heating for all of the 8' X 10'2" area rug except approx. a corner area of 38" X 30" (now under rug and can't effectively measure). The corner area in question in where a recliner is located, but the foot area butting up against the recliner IS heated. I also have another recliner and a 7 piece sectional that is heated from butting up against the front of the sectional throughout the entire rug except the small corner section mentioned above. This living room is 13.5' X 13.5'. The floor is toasty to the feet and provides heat to the entire room. These insulating non-slip pads are instrumental in maximizing the heat delivered to my area rug and room. I originally considered buying the pvc type rug pads sold in most home supply stores, but determined that the Rug Buddy pads were far superior in durability and insulating properties than the other options. I'm very happy I bought the Rug Buddy non slip insulation pads. I'm very satisfied with my entire Rug Buddy set up!!!

very effective
These pads are extremely non-slip! so much so it can be a challenge to adjust them because they stick so quickly! But they come up again with no residue or anything and do a great job. They add a bit of soft padding without it being noticeable.

Works well with the heating pad although it is very expensive.
Our pad is specially designed to work with our under rug heaters to improve efficiency, plus they use the finest padding materials, so they will last longer than most other products on the market. But you can use another brand, but in the long run you'll find that our pad will out perform others in quality and it's ability to improve the heater's efficiency.

Definitely non-slip however occasionally sounds like we are walking on bubble wrap.
This goes away in a short period of time and can be controlled by working out any bubbles when laying out the pad from the beginning.

Just What I Needed
This is the second pad I purchased from Cozy Winters. Last year I purchased the Rug Heater and the pad for my RV. This year was just to replace the pad. I probably could have used the same pad again, but it was kind of gross looking on the edges from getting dirty. It is protected better this year, so maybe it will stay cleaner over the winter. Thanks for making and/or distributing such great products.
